"The Dangers of Dreaming" trailer
!!!!!! "The Dangers of Dreaming" was written and directed by Sellus Wilder, and shot here in Frankfort. Our town looks beautiful on camera, with our State Capital, historic downtown and scenic countryside serving as ideal backdrops for Max's story. The film features dozens of local actors (such as Karen and Russ Hatter) and musicians (such as The Peach Pie Jazz Band, Jeff Ellis and Joanna Hay).
An early draft of "The Dangers of Dreaming" played at festivals across the country in 2007, winning a number of awards in the process. Even when competing against million-dollar movies, the rough cut of this Frankfort film was recognized for its directing, performances and soundtrack, and even won a couple of 'Best of Fest' audience awards. The film recently enjoyed a successful premiere in Frankfort! Keep an eye out for future screenings in Louisville and Lexington.
